Do Billerica town officials ever consult prophylactically with our contracted legal representative prior to making decisions to get an opinion or explanation for the public? Or, do they only seek legal advice after getting themselves and the taxpaying members of the town into trouble; e.g. the New Parker Elementary School contractor award (among many other fiascos)? Do you think a part-time government of this make-up is sufficient for a town of 41,000, or do you think we are past due for a warrant to convert to a city/mayoral government?

Wow. Not much of a vote of confidence in Town Meeting. The US Congress has a better approval rating.

I thought TM might lose, but not by such a wide margin. it can’t even beat “Other”. It’s just a matter of time now, I think.
