If you take time to watch the following videos, you will end up with a greater grasp on the problem of poverty control through U.S. immigration policy. Few people want others to suffer needlessly, but even fewer want to add to the roles of those who are suffering by placing an unreasonable burden on other for the sake of feeling like you are doing something kind. After you watch these videos, you will not only have a greater grasp on how foolish immigration policy only prolongs suffering and does nothing to end 3rd world suffering. You will, hopefully come to understand that altruism without a guiding principle of selfish, rational self-interest is immoral and dangerous. You will also come to see how applying a pragmatic approach without a selfish rational self-interest is equally immoral and dangerous. And finally, after seeing how rational self-interest is the key to keep oneself from harm and becoming one’s brother’s teacher is far superior than becoming one’s brother’s keeper is a far more moral position to take from both a rational and a humanitarian perspective. If you really want to help the 3rd world, teach – don’t preach. I you want the 3rd world standards of living to improve, work on getting them to understand that only they can control that road, and traveling that road requires education, hard learning, hard work, and a dedication to allowing those who are successful to keep more of what they earn while not engaging in the folly of redistribution. There is no room for pragmatism when the hard work of building a nation or an entire continent is before you. Teach, don’t preach; lead using consistent policy and philosophy, not wavering pragmatism. Be selfish and teach those in the third world to be equally selfish with their rights and the fruits of their labor. Let them keep most of what they earn and they will try to earn more and improve their own conditions much faster. If you want to be a great humanitarian, give each immigrant a copy of the U.S. Constitution and teach them how to apply the doctrines contained therein uniformly, dispassionately impartially, fairly and demand that others do the same when it comes to your rights.

Now, I’m begging you, please compare what you just saw to the discussion here by Hollywood’s finest philosophers and thinkers who claim to be in touch with reality and in whose reality, all things are possible:

Consider what is being offered as solutions and ask yourself if they have any chance to work under any conditions in light of the reality you just saw.
