I’m not a big fan of foul, but it seems that I committed one. Earlier, I predicted that the reason that Scott Brown was not receiving support from main stream Republicans was, among other things, that they, like me, didn’t see him having a chance of hell of winning in Massachusetts. And now, it seems, I must eat the foul I committed in the form of crow.
Normally, eating crow is considered an unpleasant task, and since I’m not a big foul eater, the concept initially seemed repugnant. However, considering the voter turnout was huge and that the size of the turnout did not help the Democrat, Martha Coakley, as thought; I look forward to dining on this bird. As revolting as Martha’s statist views are to me, I will enjoy picking on the bones of this road kill and may even try to dine on whatever marrow I can get at.
One of the latest polls taken around 7:00 pm indicates that Scott Brown is leading by as much as 10 points. Timothy Cahill, a democrat, stated that a reliable source informed him that Martha Coakley lost Worcester. Given that shot of good news, I’m ready to begin my feast with or without mayonnaise to soften the dryness and help the feathers go down smoothly. Please, forgive my poor dining habits and my hidden verbs.
