The article was inspired by Ed Camplese from the Billerica Watchers Group during a misunderstanding on my part on a public bulletin board:

Here in Billerica, we get a lot of attention paid to wetlands. People are often denied building permits due to wetlands. Other are not allowed to improve the quality, appearance or character of the land they own because of the presents of wetlands.

As this article discusses, most arguments regarding wetlands are lost because those who advocate protecting them take a moral high ground. In doing so, politicians lap it up and join in with them.

However, the position is actually just the opposite: it is immoral, as you will discover, if you go to the article cited. You should read it; in fact, if you believe in the supremacy and immutability of individual property rights, you truly should not avoid the educational opportunity it affords.
